Helisika Agricultural Limited was incorporated in 1995 by Greg Gribble in Auckland.
But this was not Greg’s first venture, he was previously part of a group that started Helisika Taupo in 1987.
Helisika started with Hughes 300 based on a grass pad and then shortly after moved to a skyline garage at Ardmore airport.
Since then we have come a long way, we now operate two aircraft out of a much larger hangar at Ardmore, with a third aircraft based at Dargaville.
Our grasp reaches wide into the upper north island regions with a base at Dargaville operating as Helinorth.
Throughout our history, we operated many different types of aircraft including R44s, R66 and Hughes 500s, and today we use Squirrels because of their versatility.
In the time we have been operating, we have continued to grow and improve wherever possible to ensure cost savings for clients.
We have always ensured a high job quality the first time.

In 2020 we celebrated 25 years of operation as Helisika Helicopters, which was a special occasion as at the time Greg was still with us. Sadly in 2021, Greg passed due to a long hard-fought battle with cancer.
Today the business is operated by son Jaz and is still owned by the Gribble family.
In all this time of operation, we have continued to support our friends, clients, and communities as they have always supported us.
